The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After graduating from Penn State in 1977, as a ceramic's major I continued worked with clay, making pottery and ceramic sculptures. In 1979 I built a studio next to my house and worked there full time until my divorce in 1991. I then got started in real estate sales while still working with clay but also got involved with medallic art and sculpture. In 1999 I moved to Edmonds, WA,just north of Seattle where I converted the garage into a studio workshop. Since then I have made bas relief medals and sculpture and at the moment I'm working on finishing a half-life size male figure, sculpting it in oil clay and hope to get it cast this summer. For recreation I bought a 30 ft sailboat in 2001 and my partner and I go out every summer for a couple of weeks sailing around the San Juan islands in addition to short fishing trips and catching dungeness crabs in season.
